Job Summary

We're on the lookout for a go-getter Business Developer to join our Trading Services team in Mexico! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of expanding Marco’s reach and building strategic partnerships that drive growth. You'll help us connect with SMEs in international trade, bringing our innovative solutions to new clients and partners. If you're passionate about B2B sales, have a background in factoring, and love the thrill of creating new business opportunities, we’d love to meet you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify & Cultivate Partnerships: Proactively seek and establish strategic alliances that expand Marco's reach within the trading sector. You’ll research and connect with potential partners that align with our business goals, creating win-win opportunities.
  • Drive New Business: Engage in outbound efforts and leverage your network to generate new business. You’ll focus on building relationships with SMEs in international trade, positioning Marco’s services as key solutions to their needs.
  • Manage Inbound Leads: Take ownership of inbound leads by providing top-notch service, addressing questions, and guiding potential clients through our offerings to convert interest into action.
  • Grow Client Portfolios: Actively manage accounts to increase portfolio revenue and ensure client retention. You’ll build long-term relationships, understand client needs, and help them succeed with our solutions.
  • Innovate & Problem-Solve: Bring fresh ideas and a solutions-oriented mindset to overcome challenges in the trading sector. Your innovative approach will help us continually improve our services.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams like marketing, product, and customer success to ensure alignment on goals and strategies, ensuring a seamless client experience from first contact through ongoing support.
  • Stay Organized & Meet Deadlines: Use your organization and time-management skills to keep track of leads, follow-ups, and partner engagements, ensuring you’re on top of everything without missing a beat.

What we're looking for:

Hard Skills:

  • Factoring Experience: 2+ years of experience in factoring or a related area – it’s a must, but if you’ve got a strong background in something similar, we’re all ears!
  • Outbound Sales: At least 2 years of experience in outbound sales – you know how to reach out, connect, and create opportunities.
  • Account Management: Experience managing accounts to grow portfolios in terms of revenue and retention. You’re skilled at building lasting relationships and helping clients succeed.
  • Languages: English fluency is essential; bilingual communication will make you a superstar!
  • Client Database: Ideally, you bring an existing network or database of potential factoring clients.
  • CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM tools for managing leads and client information.
  • Market Knowledge: An understanding of the trading services and financial sector.
  • Customer Service Mindset: You’re all about providing top-notch service and know how to keep clients happy!
