About the Role
We’re looking for an AI Engineer (Agentic Systems) to join Pulsar full-time.
This is not a traditional ML role. We’re not looking for someone focused on training models or doing research. We’re looking for a strong builder who can design and ship agentic systems powered by LLMs, backend systems, and real operational data.
You’ll work directly with the founders and engineering team to create AI systems that help our customers better understand their factories, surface the right insights, and interact with their operations in much more intelligent ways.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to move fast, operate with autonomy, and build from idea to production.
What You’ll Work On
Build customer-facing agentic systems on top of Pulsar’s industrial data platform
Design the intelligence layer that turns factory data into useful workflows, insights, and actions
Develop internal AI tools that improve engineering velocity and help the team ship faster
Build the backend systems and data pipelines needed to take these products to production
Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
+1 years of experience building agents or AI related products
Hard Skills
Strong backend engineering skills (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar)
Experience building and shipping production systems end-to-end
Hands-on experience building with LLMs in real applications
Ability to combine APIs, backend systems, data pipelines, and AI components into reliable products
Strong product and engineering judgment when working through ambiguous problems

Previous startup experience
