About Wheel the World

Wheel the World is a social startup on a mission to make the world accessible. By building a cutting-edge model of accessibility data—extracted, organized, and displayed on www.wheeltheworld.com—we enable people with disabilities to find and book accessible travel experiences, including hotels, tours, and activities, with the precise accessibility information they need in the world’s most incredible destinations.

We are an international team, passionate about accessibility, and we truly love what we do. We believe in humility, friendship, and collaboration, and we are in constant pursuit of creativity and innovation.

💡 About the Role

Your Mission

Design end-to-end user experiences through collaborative brainstorming, user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual design comps using Figma (and other relevant tools).

  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows that prioritize both usability and accessibility.

  • Create visually appealing, consistent, and brand-aligned user interfaces.

  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance the user experience and strengthen the brand’s visual narrative.

💡 We’d love you even more if...

  • Knowledge of animation or micro-interaction design to increase user engagement.

  • A passion for illustration to enrich interface designs with unique, creative, and visually compelling elements.

  • Curiosity for tech-driven solutions and optimizations.

💡 Requirements

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UX research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality visual interface (UI) designs.

  • Visual Design Skills: Ability to create modern, attractive, and functional interfaces with strong attention to detail in typography, color, and layout.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
